The Determinants of Real Activity Manipulation

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence real activity manipulation in corporations listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2016-2020 research period. A quantitative method is designed this collects secondary data from a company’s annual report. The sample used 25 manufacturing with number of observed for 5 years as many 125 companies. analytical utilized panel regression selects one three best models data, and model result Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach. results show institutional ownership, free cash flow, voluntary disclosure effect negatively IDX. limitation only using samples so it cannot generalize all types companies period narrows observed.
